Pentax drops pricing for K20D, Optio W60
16:05 EDT - Golden, Colorado-based Pentax Imaging Co. has today announced price drops for two of its digital camera models.
The Pentax K20D digital SLR, first announced in January 2008 during the runup to the Photo Marketing Association tradeshow, will now be priced at $999.95 body-only. Initially sold at $1,300 for the camera body, the 23% drop in price will bring the Pentax K20D in below the psychologically important $1,000 mark.
